If you could gain one character trait, what would you pick?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 25, 2008:

Empathy and patience...On a personal level I would have to say how I react to other people's attitude and the indifference they act toward other people. There a times when my anger gets the better part of me. As a society I think we are extremely indifferent and blind to what is happening globally but more importantly in our own communities. I also think people tend to turn a blind eye on how people treat each other. We are a mean society at times to not only our neighbors, friends, family and co-workers but also to total strangers. Can you imagine what a simple smile or hello can do to someone's day?  I think everyone should make it a daily practice to do one random act of kindness every day, just think, it could be contagious. Also I think we need to realize that we can not change yesterday. It's done and gone, whether positive or negative we need to throw it out to the universe to take care of it.  We also can not change tomorrow, as it hasn't come yet. The only thing we can change is today with all its infinite possibilities.

What's your ideal working situation?

Posted on Nov 27th, 2007 by Lisa : Seeking the Power of Light Lisa
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 27, 2007:

Being in the banking profession my ideal working situation would be an environment where my team used their talents to the best of their abilities, because everyone one of them has something unique to bring to the table.  You have to have a passion for what you do or you will never succeed in life. Life is about passion and the job your choose has to be one where you love going to work everyday. I love working with people and in my business you have to deal with people everyday. You have to have compassion and patience and an understanding that sometimes bad things happen to good people. I tell my team that if this isn't the job for them then that's okay. It's all about finding your happiness.

Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas.

Remember to thank someone today, tomorrow and everyday. Wouldn't it be nice if it was for no reason. :)

What are you going to do after you answer this?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 22, 2007:

Well first I must say to all a blessed Thanksgiving. After I log off Zaadz's I'm going to do what I've been wanting to do for a long time. Rest. rest. rest... my life has been hectic but full of life. I'm then going to relax and read, read , read, :):) then celebrate a wonderful dinner with family and friends and give thanks that my mother who is suffering from cancer is still with us.

Love and belssings,
Lisa
